Early into CoVid19, I was invited to participate in a playing card deck project through the Provincetown Commons. Because of the format, collage made sense and I create the Two of Spades with a pair of Audubon bluejays. Then I got involved in various collage challenges on Instagram. Not all of the collages are a result of those challenges, but most include birds or things with wings. I also did a series of shadowboxes, some include images from my paintings. The collages are very different from the paintings but there is a cohesiveness that ties both practices together.
